On the Landing Pages

How about we start with something that is widely used in Online Marketing and that, if not already, you will have to face sooner or later: A colonoscopy? No! Your brother-in-law at the next family gathering telling you about the bargain he just got? No! Getting into an elevator right after a furtive nod from the industry email list previous occupant? No! Was it you who occupied the elevator? No! Let’s talk about Landing Pages. Before showing you some tips, let me explain something to you: On a landing page you must always have defined the main action that you want a visitor to perform. This can be purchasing a product, subscribing to your blog or sending you a message. In either case, there must be a single action considered primary.

Remove all navigation menu at the top

Do you really want me to be able to navigate to your service pages, your home page or your blog? No! You don’t want that, you want me to perform your AP (Main Action). So don’t miss your chance at the first top bar. Goodbye menu! Minimize the navigation options at the bottom . You may consider that you should add some navigation KY Lists options, such as a link to your privacy policy or your presentation page. Okay, I accept it. Of course, reduce them to a minimum and put them on the bottom foot, the last thing of all. Apply the law of 3 options . In a well-made Landing Page, the visitor should have only 3 options: Make your AP, scroll to find out a little more or close the page and continue with your life. If that’s all you can do on your landing page, then you’ll be on the right track.
