Before we dive into the trends of 2024, it is good to briefly reflect on what the Hype Cycle entails. According to Gartner, new technologies go through 5 phases before they become commonplace:
Innovation Trigger : A technological breakthrough provides the starting point for the cycle. The technology is still in the conceptual phase and commercial viability has not been proven.
